Adding Play Sand

I've only got about 30 pounds of LS in a 50 gallon tank right now. I have two fish, one CC Star, One CBS, one small crab and live rock. I want to add more sand (would play sand be okay?), how would I go about it? Can I add LR at the same time?

Yes you can use playsand as kipass said try and go with southdown or you want to get the whitest sanitized sand as kipass pointed out I know south down is very cheap I believe maybe 10.00 for a 50lb bag. I want to add some more sand to my tank im going to buy some aquarium sand thats 3.00 for 5lbs but it is very white and looks just like my live sand.When you put in your live sand I did 1/2" at a time to the desired depth to let the live sand critters make there way up each 1/2" Do as kipass said use a pvc pipe and pour it down to the bottom it takes longer but you won't have cloudy water for a day or 2 trust me I just took my live stock out and poured my sand in and man it was very cloudly.

I just put sand in my tank last Thursday and it is still cloudy but I just poured it in, didn't put it through a tube or anything. And trust me you do want to take out all of your livestock. I didn't and I lost some of mine.
