Adding Sand

Well, im addinig my sand to the Biocube 8. Got a bag of CaribSea Reef Sand. As I'm adding it, im not really sure how keen I am on the lower intake to the back chamber. It dosent really seem like Im going to be able to get the sand bed too deep. Ive read that some people have covered that lower intake. What do you guys think?

I think you need a deep sandbed 4". if you can't do 4" then do 2" or less..

how much of a sandbed is recommended for a yellow watchman goby?

I have some left over LR rubble in the front im not sure what to do with, the back chamber is all full.
