adding SFE

My tank has been cycled for 5 months. 12 days ago I added my first fish, Niger and a spotted puffer, each are small 1.5 inches. I am thinking about adding a SFE to the tank. It is also a small. Is it okay to add the SFE this fast, or should I wait longer. Also, how do you cover all the gaps in the hood to make sure they don't escape? I have a small hole around my heater, fluval filter and a bio-wheel filter.

Silicone can seal any holes you have, plumbing aisle of your local hardware store. Also watch out near the filter, my eels have climbed into the filter before. Just make sure the whole top is closed in.

how many days have you had the niger and the puff in ? I would test the water and make sure everything is ok and then add it maybe a week or so after you added the two already

water test are in check, I added the two fish 12 days ago.

i don't think you would have a problem if everything is doing fine and everyone would still be fairly new also
