Should I go buy the pods in those lil bottles for $20something for 200something pods and add in the tank?
I have 55g-100lb LR-30lb LS-2 HOB filters. over 4months old.
I have a lil to many corals and just a few fishes.
I've introduced just a few Tiger pods thatcame with the a coral bought locally. I lately checked the tank at night after the light's out and I saw a the Tiger pod population is growing..... :cheer: that's a good news.
I am planning on getting a Dragonet.
Thanks for all comments

I was just curious if you have a fuge? The dragnet will empty the pod population pretty quick, but a fuge will provide a place for the pods to repopulate without being attacked. :) Don't know about the bottles, I have never used them. They sound like a good idea though.

they're good, i think this site even sells them, put some in your DT and some in your fuge if you have one. If not, create a place in the tank for them to reproduce and not get eaten...Like a small mound of LR rubble.

I don't have a fuge.
So will have to rely on the lr in the tank.
100lb lr per 55g tank is alot.
the tank has a very intricate rockwork. All big rocks thou.
I prolly add a pile of small rubbles.

the rubble idea is the best way to assure that they have some place to hide form the mandarin and other fish. It will provide them with a place to hide and grow, and as they get larger they will leave the pile.

I use a floating breeder cage filled with macro algae as a small in tank "fuge" I dump any micro fauna I come across during filter element cleanings in there. After the first couple of months with light feedings my mini "fuge" was teaming with life after lights out. I've had the same mandarin four years now and she's still very healthy and happy. I feel my mini "fuge" has been a big help keeping my DT mico fauna community from crashing.

I buried a piece of small PVC in my tank and I think if you were to put a peice one from one end of your tank to the other and leave it there for a while you might be able to keep a drogonett.
