I am upgrading my lights from compact lights to metal halides. I am wondering what kind of schedule do I need to do to help my fish and corals adjust to the brighter lights?

I'd run them for a coupla hours a day for a coupla days, then gradually increase in perhaps an hour increment for a few days, then another hour for a few days, etc. Make sure you see no ill effects and adjust accordingly.
