Advice for a 20 minute move please

I have a 75 gallon tank that I will be needing to move in a few weeks. I plan to get gallon ziploc bags for the fish and coral and put the rest of the live rock and sand in a rubbermaid with some water. My main question is how much water can I change without causing a cycle? Do they make water tight rubbermaid containers? All I have are some home depot 5 gallon buckets.
Thanks for any help.
And by 20 minute move, I mean the place I am moving to is 20 minutes away.

we have done this twice, when we bought other people's tanks and broght them home and set them back up here with no problems. We used most of the original water, maybe like 20% was new. Almost like a water change. Rubbermaids work well with Lr. We put plastic bag in rubbermaid, then rock with water, it keeps the rock wetter than just being in the bin and you will have less die off.Good luck!!

A few years ago when I had to move a 20 gallon FW I used milk jugs to hold the water. I guess that would be a LOT of jugs and a big pain for a 75. We have some 5 gallon collapisable (sp) water jugs that we keep in our camper that we got in the camping section at walmart. They weren't very expensive either.

Corally has a good idea, but we had boght our 5 gal jugs from our LFS for when we used to buy our water from him, They have screw on caps, these wre not collapsable they were a little stronger but the others would probably do the trick.

both times we moved tanks they were 125gal, so there was lots of water should be much easier with a smaller tank.
