Advice needed over all

First thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully responding with some advice.

Secondly below is my setup:
- 36g bowfront
- Fluval 206 canister
- Koralia 750 wavemaker
- Current USA Orbit Marine Aquarium LED Light
- ~75 pounds live rock
- non live substrate ~.75"
- Fluval surface skimmer
- 2 false pecula

My question for advice begins on what else could I stock this tank with? I know I can't go all out and put another 10 or so fish in it, but what would be suitable. I would also like to put some coral in there, mostly for my clowns to have a host. What would be a good idea for someone like me, new to the hobby, to have? I like the look of the torch coral or the frogspawn but not too sure if they are easy enough to take care of.

So again, thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Frog spawn is easy to care for the only thing is there's no guarantee your clowns will host it or anything else you put in.
For fish you could add a wrasses, blenny, goby, pretty much anything that stays small like 3" max

I agree no for sure hosting. But frog, mushrooms are fairly easy.
Fish, not all of these lol fire fish, royal gramma, clown goby, yellow watchman goby, dwarf angel, lawnmower blenny, possum wrasse, mandarin

Appreciate the advice. How long could I go without a skimmer? I don't plan on putting that many corals in..maybe 2 or 3 and hoping to keep them under control.

Well it's just a surface skimmer...not a protein skimmer. Is there that much of a difference?

No that light will not be sufficient for most corals... if you look at the specs on those lights they have .25 watt leds and a very low par rating. You need like 3 watt led's for most moderate to high lighting need corals. So I'd say if you're wanting to get coral then only attempt very hardy corals with very low light requirements

Kenya tree... most mushrooms like a hairy mushroom. But if you're looking for hosting for your clownfish I would recommend an anemone over coral for that. Most anemone's have a pretty high lighting requirement as well though.

My clown was trying to host on my green goniopora and the little goni did not like it one bit...lol I had to separate them.

I have an orbit led light and I also have torch coral, Duncan's and ZOA's. All three, if place properly in the tank will flourish under your lites. My Duncan's have grown from two polyps to six. And with my torch, three polyps have already split. You will have to feed them.

If you want a light that can support all types of coral check out the cheap chinese boxes on eBay/Amazon just look up 165w reef light I use one of these and they work great
