advice on upgrading my lights

Hey everyone.
I want to upgrade my lighting to MH
this is my current canopy with PC, actnics and moonlights. What would be the best way to upgrade keeping my existing canopy? OH btw my tank is 90 gallon.

What's the inside height of your canopy from top of canopy to top of tank?

with mh, u will need a chiller with that canopy, unless i make a hole on the side of the canopy for fan ventilation.

remember mh needs to be 8-10 inches above the waterline.

You can do it with 6", but as stated will definitely increase your water temp.....I would first start by adding fans to the back of the canopy (several) you want some pulling heat, and some pushing cooler air inside the canopy.....Another thing to try is running a fan overtop the sump.....I've seen on melevsreef that he did a sweet fan setup over a sump just for cooling.......Check out the site and search for it.......

Have you thought about T5? Do a TEK 6 bulb retro fit and you'll be able to keep whatever you want. With MH heat will definately be an issue, T5 won't be.
