O.K., I would like to get a pair of clowns. I bought a flower rock anemone( quite big I think, green with white and red mouth), and now am thinking about pair of false percs. It seems as though maybe they wont host this anemone, and that I cant put in two anemones in one tank. true? Also, I have a large frogspawn that hosts my 4 sexy shrimp, would they be in danger if the clowns decided to host it(frogspawn)? thanks in advance-

You are correct. HOsting is a hit or miss thing. Sometimes one of your clowns will host and the other won't, or they may not host at all, they may host a heater, or they both may host the anemone. It really just depends, and from what i've read your chances are not very high that your clowns will host what you want.
You should avoid putting two anemones within the same tank. If they are the same clone (one anemone that split into two) then this is fine. And i've even read that you can get away with it as long as they are the same species in a larger tank. But i personally wouldn't try this if your tank is smaller than 50 gallons.
The clowns will probably kick the shrimp out, they are pretty agressive and territorial with things they host. And i seriously doubt they will 'share' the space with a shrimp if they do decide to host the frogspawn.

I would only put one Amemone in a tank or they will fight to the death, moving around killing coral in there paths!

The shrimp look cool hosting a frogspawn!! how did you get them to host it? I have a frogspawn and always wanted some sexy shrimp! will my clowns or goby eat them?

I am not sure, I was hoping to get small percs that might not want to eat sexys. I love them, the sexy shrimp, and they just started going to the frogspawn, anytime any of the other fish get near they put up their tail and kinda sway almost like a warning. I am a little scared to try this whole thing, I don't want to disrupt my sexys.
Thanks for all your help.

In a previous tank i had with two clowns and a LTA along with Frogspawn and hammer corals. My Clowns would not host the LTA after about a month i taped a picture of clowns in an Anemone on the glass and after two days it worked!!
They hosted and even started laying eggs about 3 months later!
Weird!! But it worked!!

i moved and had to sell the tank!
