African Leopard Wrasse Pair

Hey Everyone, I have had an african leopard wrasse for over 8 months now and was able to find another one at my LFS. They have been together for a couple weeks now and I am wondering if the wrasse I first had will turn into a male. He is the above fish in the picture of them together. I attached a photo I found for reference. Im also wondering if anyone knows how long this process could take?

Thank you!

Very nice! I used to have a male.

It's my understanding (and this could be wrong), that they're sex is their sex and it doesn't change like some fish can (like clowns). That being said, there are a few people that claim they've seen fairy wrasses change sex, so I guess it's possible. Yours definitely looks like it's changing.
