Nano 24 Tank needs a home quickly...
I started my Saltwater tank in the winter of 1991. I have had extraodinary luck/skill over the years with my fish. A few years ago I down sized from a 75 gallon tank to a Nano 24 after losing my Blue Face Angel of 12 years. For many years now I have said when my Flame Hawk goes, I will be done with this tank...and as all good things must come to an end; tonight was the night. Funny how attached you can become to a fish in 13 years. He really never got much bigger in size than when I bought him. He survived many fellow tank mates and a jump out of the tank and a jump into the filter. He went out quickly, knowing that a slow death would be agonizing for me. Yesterday he was good and eating and today he was gone, it was just his time.....and that brings me to this post.
I have 2 small crabs left in the tank and some nice live rock and an amazing kick ass biological filtration system based on the length of time I have had it and the very long lives my fish have lived! So I am looking for someone quickly to take it over. It will need fish added pretty quickly and it would be a shame for someone not to take advantage of this system.
I live in the Chicago land area and will sell the Nano 24 tank with the stand, filter, heater, food, chemicals, a little bit of salt, live rock and some real decorative coral (purchased when purchasing was legal) for $200. Blue bulb burned out 2 weeks ago, other lighting works. Pictures below taken at 8:30pm 4/23/13
