After murdering the Browns, are you ok with Art Modell being inducted into the Hall of Fame?

I'm not sure how many NFL fans are out there, but this is the HUGE story around Cleveland right now. As some of you know (or may not know) the Cleveland Browns were ripped from the city in 1995 after Art Modell decided he was going to move the team from Cleveland to Baltimore to become the Ravens. For the first time in 80 years, Cleveland didn't have professional football from 1996 until 1999 when the league awarded the Browns back to the city.
Several months ago, Art Modell passed away, and now there are a lot of people who are pushing to get him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It's no secret that he did a lot of good things (helped create Monday Night Football, scored the league billions from TV contracts, hired the first minority General manager Ozzie Newsome, etc). However, most people around here think there is NO WAY he should go in, based on the fact he took the Browns out of Cleveland.
To make it even more interesting, the Pro Football Hall of Fame is in my town (Canton, Ohio) about 55 miles south of Cleveland. If he were to get elected, there might be riots down here. Seriously.
As a general sports fan, who doesn't have a dog in the fight... what do you think?

His move to Baltimore does seem to have been successful. Of course he should go in. Just because fans in one area resent a business move doesn't take away his many other accomplishments in the sport.

I seriously wish Cleveland fans of all sports would quit whining. After the browns moved we gave you the Flippin' Drew Carey Show for god's sake.

I'm a huge Cleveland sports fan. But even I feel like the majority of people in this town are coming across as the "bitter ex girlfriend". Between "The Shot", "The Fumble", Browns leaving, Indians in 97 World Series, Lebron and "The Decision", and now the Modell thing...
I feel like God is punishing us because we're being whiny little b***hes for all of eternity. Stuff happened, now get over it already and move on would ya?

Think about this Cleveland Browns Fans Modell gave the CITY a Chance to save the Team in the Mid 90's. They needed to Build a New Stadium to replace the one that was Falling Down around the Team. However the PEOPLE of Cleveland said NO and Modell said I am out of here. Cleveland has NO ONE to Blame but Themselves for losing the Original Browns Team being they were to Dumb to think an Owner being Offered a Brand New Stadium in a New City with everything he Wanted would not Move. Modell Does Belong in the Hall. Besides I will never go see the Jewel that is Cleveland until the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inducts KISS and a few Other Heavy Metal Groups that have Outsold 40% of the People that they claim deserve Enshrinement. Come on Shakia Kahn over KISS Give me a Break.

KISS will get in, don't worry. People said the same thing about Rush, and lo and behold, look who's getting in this year!

The difference is Rush actually are musicians while kiss plays the same three chords with different Lyrics. Without face paint and a huge show they would have gone nowhere. Hell Winger had better musicians......

Cinderella was a good band. Still remember having to carry my drunken ex wife out of a show less than half way through cause she passed out. 10 row seats and the b passes out, plus she wasn't light. Had to haul her about 2 blocks between getting out of the apatheater and to the parking lot.

Without RATT Ozzy would never have acquired guitar great Jake E. Lee to replace Randy Rhodes.
