Aftermath of Dennis...

How did everyone from the Gulf Coast fare? I've been reading that Dennis wasn't as bad as Ivan, so that's good...but let's hear it from those who were there??!!
The remnants of Dennis are nearing St. Louis, and BOY am I glad!
We've had nasty mugginess up here for the last month; no rain, no breeze, and HOT!
But now it's cooled off...the tinfoil has come off the windows and I've thrown them all open, and I can SMELL the rain coming.
It's a beautiful day!!

the smell of rain is GREAT............................. :joy:
The first day in a couple months that I feel like the air is breathable.
I am sick of watering and my grass is crunchy. Its been so humid and muggy even the pool is HOT!!
