well after adding my sump tank immediately temperarily went down hill. Perhaps it was the sand storm or playsand itself. my xenia all looked so bad I scraped them all off. several stalks of xenia really do fill out a tank nicely. looks bland now. also lost my fairly nice candy cane, glad I only had five heads. hammer aint quite its normal self yet but it survived. didn't want to act right during photo time though.
thought I scraped all the xenia off. guess not. in several months this will soon lead to what I had hopefully

I was sure the brain was a gonner as it slimed itself into a cacoon like mess but it made a full recovery

blue mushrooms were uneffected

green stars uneffected for the most part, multirock still not the same but coming along

$20 sump that nearly wrecked havoc on my tank

Gold stripe maroon clown

out of focus but he wouldn't exactly pose for the shot

tang in for a cleaning (yes he's going in a bigger tank VERY soon as is the GSM)

did you loose the fridmani during the sump instalation. i notice he was in the before shots, but not the afters.
anyway, tank looks good. i wish i would have used smaller pieces of rock in my 30 gallon like you have. you have so much room to place corals. the bigger pieces i use just take up space and dont have many good platforms.

thanks, the fish is a royal gramma. no I didn't loose any fish or crustasceans from adding the sump. I just decided to start my 90 gallon livestock a bit prematurely and didn't think a maroon clown and royal gramma would be a good match. so til next month it will be the tang and maroon clown in there. then I have not a clue to what I'm going to put in this tank. probably just corals and clown gobies.
