Im in a miidle of cycleing my 55 gal tank and am still trying to work on my stocking list.
Looking for good ideas for a good selection of aggressive fish that would work in a 55 gal. and what kind on clean up crew i will be able to keep.
Any tips and advice will greatly be appreciated.

Most aggressives will kill your clean up crew. As for a stocking list for 55s,Hawkfish have great personality. Handfeeding is possible with some of these fish. Toby puffers and Damsels work. Aggressives are quite limited in smaller tanks because of their sloppy nature and inability o play with cleaners.
No triggers, no large puffers, no groupers.

A dwarf lion and a snowflake would be pretty sweet. Many something else in there as well. For the cleanup crew, turbo snails would be fine unless you get a puffer or ect.

I am pretthy sure the trigger will mess with the clowns until they die, I would go with the snowflake and another eel of some sort, and I agree with evenish a dwarf lion or fu man chu lion would do well in a 55, how much live rock are you going to have??

As long as the trigger isnt MUCH larger than the clown they will do fine. Ive kept many clowns with triggers for years without problems. As long as you stick with the larger ones like maroons or tomatos your good to go.

Agree. For being an active fish, they need a pretty good amount of swimming room like tangs.

just get a small one
plus they really grow slow

Small, in size, or not...a Tusk should never be kept in a 55gal. tank. They might be small, but they're also a very active fish. From personal experiance in keeping them, I wouldnt put one in anything less than 90gal. and more preferrably, a 125gal.

A Tusk is not a small fish, they grow to 10"..and need plenty of room to swim. He will be like a caged tiger in a 55. I had one...my mistake, in a 65 and he was not happy. I sold him to someone w/ a much larger tank. I think the dwarf lion is a nice idea for a 55. Get a dottyback, most all of them are quite aggressive. The neons are gorgeous. They are a more suitable size for that tank. A bluespot puffer might also work, but I don't find them aggressive really, unless you are a small snail.

Thanks for all the suggestions, and Ive finally got all my live rock and water ready.
Problems now is that my girlfriend is demanding a yellow tang. What aggressive goes with that and if posible i would like to have the lionfish with it among others.

Yellow Tangs need a great deal of room to be comfortable. You don't have the room to accomedate in a 55. Wetwebmedia and saltwaterfish are good places to get information.
