can i get any thing to help clean like snails or hermit crabs or some sort of clean up crew i have a clown trigger and a dog face puffer and a lion fish in a 220 i had a reef but went to fish only

theyll get eaten, you can add a whole bunch of snails and they will pick them off one by one, but its not gonna affect the big picture of why you need them

You can get hermit crabs and large snails like Mexican Turbo Snails. They'll get eaten but not all overnight. You'd be surprised, hermit crabs can learn to come out only at night. But you have to be willing to replenish them once every few months.

Not your question; but I think its just a matter of time before your CT & Dogface decide to shred your lions fins. I know many folks have kept them together for a while; but, IMO, putting any lion in with a Clown Trigger is a certain eventual death sentence

Try finding some big hermit crabs.
We bought 4 thick shelled hermit crabs in June for our tank. They range from 3-4 inches in size. We also have 2 puffers & 2 lions in the tank. None of the fish have pestered the hermits yet, but our fish are well fed too. We only managed to find these hermit crabs in a small, locally owned pet shop.
