aggressive watchaman

I added a diamond goby over a month ago and until he has displayed pretty relaxed behavior. Then all of a sudden he's nipping at the clown fish and then a few of the shrimp. It doesn't seem like he's out for blood, but what could cause this. He eats like everyone else in the tank and sifts the sand.

Don't worry Maui, I have one too, he does the same thing. If he's like mine, he probably burrowed under a rock and is just protecting his territory!

No, he actually goes out in the open and picks fights. I think he want the shrimp to clean him, I haven't seen them do that in a while.

if this is happening near where he stays all the time, he is protecting his estabished ground
