aggressives bite air lines?

fixed

Upgrading tank to a 150 overflow with triggers and a puffer. I'd like to put in a bubbler. Do I need to shield the air line somehow? Will the triggers or puffer bite the air line tubing? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Some will, some won't. Depends on the fish.
I'd tuck any air line behind rock, coral etc. to prevent the ability of them to bite at it.
I've had puffer break the glass of heaters before, so you can never be sure.

We have a 125 with 3 triggers. Just to be safe, we put everything in the sump. There are two corner overflows with powerheads. The triggers like to hang out behind the powerheads sometimes (hiding :joy: so they think) I wouldn't have any lines in the main tank, can't trust those darned triggers, they eat everything........Peace

I would not recommend using a bubbler in a saltwatwer tank in the first place. There are various reasons you will find if you use the search button, but mainly, I will say that you get much better oxygenation and results from powerheads and a protein skimmer.
