I have a clownfish in my tank that's been in there since about July and has been hosting in my frogspawn coral, both of which seem happy and healthy. I also have a single head of duncan coral that has recently started sprouting new heads like crazy (4 within the past month). I don't know if it has anything to do with the new growth but it seems like as soon as the duncan started growing, the clown has been picking at it like crazy. It seems to be picking at the mouth of the largest polyp more than the tentacles.
Has anyone else had a similar problem or anyone have any insight as to why the clown has suddenly started doing this? I've had the duncan for a long time and am very excited that it has finally started to grow new heads but now I'm worried that the clown is going to kill it.
