agressive emerald crab

hey, I just watched one of my emerald crabs attack another crab. is that normal?? I've never seen that before. hmmmm, maybe i need to watch them more. I got them all with a reef kit from this sight. apparently they don't play well together. well, he killed it.....I suppose I need to decide whether to add more crabs or throw this one out.

Most any crab will kill if they can. I hate crabs.

well, apparently crabs have ---...... not meaning they're both having a cigarette right now. the giver is grazing the rock again and the receiver is still there.....can't tell if it's smiling. it was like crab s&m...... what do I know about crabs?? the non politically correct one is much bigger than the other one. I guess in the crab world you just jump on whoever you fancy and it's all good. what a great life..... :thinking:
I'm happy to report they are both alive and well..... the dead thing reminds me of my ex-wife after ---, but we won't go there.
i guess i need to pay more attention.......

I think I could have lived without that...
I've actually had great luck with my emerald, except that he picked a lot at an injured toadstool leather in my tank. Otherwise, he pretty much keeps to himself. My hermits are another story. Nasty little things.

I haven't really noticed the hermits doing anything bad... and as for the emeralds, i had one a few years ago that would snap at fish as they went over. I use them as a cleaning crew, there are quite a few in the 125 DT. And then I read the whole post about emerald crabs (duh) right at the top of the page. hmmmmm. I have three tanks, so it's difficult to browse this sight as much as i should. it's a sickness
