Agressive Fish

Hi. I have a 40 gallon Tank and want to go on the agressive side. I Have Live Sand, Live Rock and a Dragon Wrasse in it right now. My tank has been running for about 6 months. This month I got a Clown Tang, and he got ich within the first week I had him. I was able to save my Dragon Wrasse. My tank has now been treated with copper for 1 month. I want to get a Blue Face Angel (juvenile) and a Humu Humu Trigger (juvenile). As they get to big for my tank I will sell them to my local fish store. What fish does anybody else recommend? Also, does anyone know what website I can buy legs for my Orbit Lighting system? One of the legs holding the light up broke off.
Thanks,
Gary

You are going about the hobby all wrong please slow down and read some of the topics on this forum. Please dont get upset about the replies your going to get I can see it coming allready. If you are interested in the agressive side go out and buy at least a 150 and use that 40 for your quarantine tank then we can talk about stocking or just get an angler for your 40 and he will take care of the rest.

There are alot of fish you could go with but it is all personal taste and with a 40 you could be limited to a few fish or just 1 depending on your selection becuase of size and territorial space needed.I would recomend looking at this site and look at recomended tank size then come back here and ask becuase many of the tank size suggestions are wrong. The problem with aggresive fish are most of the cool ones get very big and will not tolerate fish of the same species, shape, and sometimes anyting that swims.Do your research and then come ask becuase alot of fish are different and act differently then described.Alot say the blueface angel should be housed with peacefull inhabitants becuase they can be shy.Mine is a holly terror and needs to be put in her place at times so be carefull which fish you add and in what order.Do some reading look at some pics and go from there but remember your best advice will come from alot good people from here.

No triggers, groupers, large angels, tangs, eels, large puffers.
A dwarf lion would be nice. There are some anglers that would be okay in a 40 gallon.
It's a small tank so stock it accordingly. Read up on the hobby and get some good books on fish species and their keeping requirements.

Hey. I understand it would be difficult going agressive with a 40 gallon. I am thinking now about group fish. What do you thing about 2 Bangaii Cardinals, 4 Lyretail Anthias (2 males 2 females) and a cleaner wrasse-red sea. Will these fish be fine with my dragon wrasse? What do you think about these fish in a 40 gallon? Please write back soon. Thanks for all the help!

Tanks too small for even a single anthias. The cardinals would work. Cleaner wrasses are a bad gamble and most die in captivity. A large maroon clown would be interesting.
