Well, decided to take the plunge and dive (had to

)into the whole nanocube frenzy. Got dual BioCube 14's, one is a QT for my sps tank. The other is just going to be for fun, not sure whats going in it, I have my eye electric blue carpet anenome and some clowns, either that or could go sps or could go lps or could go softies, clams, you name it, I have it.....LOL, can you tell I have no idea what I'm going to put in it. Nice thing is that I have a well stocked DT that I can pull just about anything out of.

How about this, you guys vote on what you want me to put in the tank and then I'll make it happen in a few days.
A) SPS or LPS
B) Softies

Whats the actual water volume of the #14, not 14g, doesn't look like it holds 14g

It holds just over 10 gallons but if you mod the back you can sneak in another gallon

Tank is now setup, 10lbs of LS, it's a little cloudy so I'll wait till later to add some LR and do the aquascaping, Why do they say this is a 14g system when it's not?

They measure the 'volume' of the entire aquarium, i.e. the outermost dimensions.

what temp do you want? i have a 12g nano cube no heater and its 80 degrees all day/night

oh and if ur doing corals youll need stronger lights which means hotter lights so you wont need a heater

Here is the tank with LR, it's already cycled, everything spiked and then dropped, the LR was fully cured from an existing tank. I think I'm going to toss in a raw shrimp and spike it again just to be safe.

Looks like the poll is closed and the Softies won. I kinda figured that it was going that way so I've been fragging away. I'll start adding livestock tomorrow.

Just added a purple ric thats about to split, some zoo's, a small leather, some GSP's and a small frag of Cloves, forgot and left camera at work, will post pics tonight.
Whats a good fish for this size tank?
