I just read an AquaNerd article on how AI is going to offer an upgrade kit to change an outdated Sol fixture to a Vega... $200.00 MSRP + SH, it includes everything to perform the upgrade. AI will even do all the work if you ship your old Sol unit to them at no charge (you probably need to pay to ship to them). You would need to be without your reef lights for a few weeks, so IDK if that works that well.
It would be interesting to see if you could find a few old Sol units for sale cheap, and do the upgrade.
Not too bad of a deal if you can find them for under $200.00 per unit.
