AIM virus?

So for anyone that has aim you have probably seen the messages where someone sends you a link and it's a virus but they didn't it on purpose. Well today my cousin clicked it and now whenever I sign on it sends a link to everyone on my buddy list. I've tried completely deleting aol and that doesn't work and I ran a virus scan and nothing comes up? Any ideas this is driving me nuts!

I have the same problem...I have contacted AIM. They are working on the problem, but right now there is no way to fix it...its a pain in the butt!!!!!!

I uninstalled aim, ran the virus scan, deleted the virus, and reinstalled aim, and it worked for me..

Don't know if this will work for you but I had my friend come over and he went into Local Disk (C)? There was an icon that said "Install" and all he did was delete that and everything works again.
