Aiptaisa....

well..i always had that feeling of..i wont ever get aiptaisa..that doesnt just happen to any1...well i guess i was wrong..today while peering into my tank i noticed what i instantly thought to be an aiptaisa anenome....i quickly ran..(not kidding..i ran) to my computer and googled aiptaisa....thats what i got...so i went back to inspect it again..when i noticed another 1...then another one....total i found 5...they were all on my liverock....well im kindof an idiot so heres what i did...i said screw joes juice..and screw boiling water...i put the rocks they were on into a fresh water dip..probably the stupidest thing i couldve done...but...my tank should be fine with just the skimmer and LS for a while....the rock didnt have a whole lot of life on it...just a tiny itsy bitsy bit of coraline and such....i plan on getting shrimp to clean them up if they return...now if only i could remember what type of shrimps eat them.....wasnt it peppermints?

too bad they are pests...i think the look kindof cool...only 1 of tehm was actually big enuff to see a full extended stalk..the rest were still really small..all i could really see was the tentacles...whats weird is most anenomes need super high lighting...the biggest one i found was under a ledge... :notsure: ...i even poked it with my fingernail...i have kinda log nails for a guy lol...it was cool to watch 3 or 4 of its sweepers retract...i was hoping i was wrong in thinking it was aiptaisa...until i googled it and got a positive ID on it...
