Aiptasia in smallest visible size?

I bought a paly rock frag from my LFS and it has two white pinwheel looking things about the size of a pin head growing on the rock. Next to them are two white specks about the size of a pin point. I have viewed photos of Aiptasia, but none I found show it in a tiny state.
I tried to photo them, but I will need to remove the rock to do it. (later)
Could this be Aiptasia in an early state?

Could be any number of things. Hydroids, feather dusters. A pic is needed to really give an idea.

Well they have grown and multiplied.

When touched, the branches collapse, but the stalk remains erect.
Any ideas on I.D.?

Not aiptasia. I would say either hydroids or tiny clove polyps.

Pretty blue clove polyps. Clavularia sp.
