Air Bubbles

Anyone know what might be causing my hagen powerheads to blow out a spurt of tiny air bubble 1 or 2 times a minute it is kind of annoying do they they need cleaned or something they are both only 6-8 weeks old

First make sure the pump is completely submerged. If it is, it is most likely a trapped air bubble inside that is slowly being pushed out. Just grab the powerhead underwater and turn it upside down and around, it will force the rest of the air out.

also, do have have any bubble strips in your tank that the power heads may be taking on bubbles every minute or so? are your ph's hooked up to an UGF?
