Air Bubbles

Have just noticed over the weekend, tiny air bubbles on my rock. Is this good or bad., what causes it and how to get rid of it. ALso, green algae bubbles. Are emerald crabs the best way to get rid of this? Sorry buy one more question. Found some kind of "slug" (I think) on my LR. It has a shell that is half turqoise blue, and half purple (coraline color) with a pitch black body (like a snail) and two long antennas. What is this and is it harmful? Thanks in advance for all your help everyone!!

I can answer one of your questions:
For the bubble algea emerald crabs work really well, IMO. or you can just pick them off yourself if you want to. Probably want the crabs to do all the dirty work for you though right?:D

how long has the tank been setup if it is a month or so the bubles should cove youe whole sandbed and if it does congrats you now have a working sand bed what causes it is the bactiria braking down the junk and gas gets released that is why you want to have good water circulation at top of tank (no scum on the water) as far as buble algie look at post above I just posted a algie doc I found

The tank has been up for 8 months now and I have a cc bottom. There are not a whole lot of bubbles but enough for me to be concerned about. They are only on the rock though. Not on the cc. Is this still good. The water circulation is great.

Any problems or special requirements to have an emerald crab? 50 gal long, 100lbs LR, 3" ls, sleeper goby, 2 scooter blennies, 2 false percs, 1 royal gramma, 1 cleaner shrimp, 3 pepperment shrimps, various hermits (micro and others) and snails (strombus, nass, ast, turbo, bumble bee...), 1 chocolate chip star (until I turn reef), 1 serpent star

Yeah, some green hair algae, but me-thinks it looks cool for now. The rocks are becoming quite colorful with different c. algae and some hair algae.
Got some red slime from time to time on top of rocks, keep it sucked out during water changes. Increased light and circulation and that is going away.

I'm sorry sammy - I was a hitchiker on this post and asked an additional question. I'll make a separate less confusing post.
KYRED is the original poster with air bubble questions.
