air stones

getting to the end of my elementary questions, air stones i haven't read anything that say yes or no on them in a horse tank...help please

bubbles from the airstones can cause air to get in the horses pouch and cause infections , air stones= bad

I also concur...I don't think they're beneficial in any sw tank, are they?

i was thinking for oxygen , on my reef i have a protein skimmer which takes care of that for me, although i have seen them in like fish only sw fish only tanks
