I have a new 55gal tank, wondering if I should hook up my 600 whisper air pump so that im pumping air in there. or does that not matter. good idea or bad idea
I would suggest using powerheads that ripple the surface of the water. They are beneficial in promoting gas exchange at the surface, keeping good flow thoughout the tank, and many other things. Powerheads are a good investment, IMO
