The tank is glass. It has a 2 peice tank rim with the splits in the middle. I just put in the powerheads where I want them and they point right at it. after about 4 days I seen a thin bead of water stream down. I responded by saying to myself, "what the ____". I should have built the overflow a little lower.....stupid, stupid, stupid, banging head on wall as I type. The only thing I can think of is to run some silcone around the lower edge of the outside. I dont mind because the canopy sit a little lower than the rim anyway. Is there anyway that I can trim a 1/2 acrylic over flow without releasing small bit of plastic in the water or at least keep them large and contained? (high power lasers are out of the question)
