albino mushroom

Has anyone every seen an, all white mushroom? I just found one on some new LR and was wondering if this is rare or not.

Sounds like a mushroom that hasn't been getting enough light. It will color back up when exposed to proper lighting.

I agree with R.R. I saw a few at the LFS and that's exactly what they told me. Good luck with your new shroom, maybe he will be blue!!! (probably not but that would be awesome )

Darn! I thought it would be sooo cool to have a white mushroom. Oh well - guess I just have to wait and see what color it turns into.

I thought the same thing...Cool a white mushroom. I was a little confused because I thought that zooxanthellae was colored and I was wonderin how it stayed alive. That's when I asked the owner of the LFS.
