Algae all over my glass

Hiya,
I know my tank is cycling still, but do I have to look at the green slime and hairy algea on my glass? I don't mind the brown stuff on the sand and BR, but I can hardly see into the tank with all the other stuff. Can't I scrap this stuff off?

Get a mag float and wipe it off the glass.

What's a mag float? A magnetic scrapper? I used one of those in my FW tank.

I just got a mag float. Its pretty nice. one magnet goes in tank and the other is on the outside and you move it around and it scraps the side of the tank. Easy to use and you don't have to stick your hand in the tank.

Hiya,
The one I had for my FW was the same way, but the part in the tank would sink if they got seperated.
I'll have to look for this one that floats when seperated.

Get an actual Mag-Float brand. They're supposed to be hugely better than any of the imitations.
