Algae Blemmy

I have an Algae Blemmy that that has taken a liking to pellet/flake food. There isn't a shortage of algae in the aquarium and judging by his girth and high level of activity i assume is very healthy. Is this normal for a herbivorous fish to supplement diet?

I have 2 LMB and they eat anything and everything I feed my fish, they love krill, mysis, clam, silverside, nori. I also have a tail spot blennie that was listed as algae eater, he eats anything also. Great fish, I love them.
