Algae control in a 90g aggressive?

My 90g agressive is now several months old, I have a strong pump going from the sup up, 810gph, and I have a 295 gph powerhead. I just have a dwarf lion in there, my water quality is good, but I'm having brown algae grow on the sand, how do I control or prevent this. I'm getting more agressive fish soon, so inverts won't work. Any suggestions?

How often do you do water changes and are you using RO water? I'd also consider adding another PH. It sounds like diatoms.

Lots of algae comes from high nitrates and the algae brings the nitrates down. More water changes will probably help.
