algae growth?

I have had 10 lbs of live rock on top of 60 lbs of base rock for a little over 2 months now. The base rock has been sitting on 65 lbs of live sand for an additional month on top of that. The base rock is a cream white but recently has gotten some funny colors on it. I have seen a lot of established tanks that were purple everywhere, which I know is good coraline algae. My rock has spots of a turquoise which looks like a child has drawn on it with a turquoise crayola crown. Last week I started noticing a darker green which is in thousands of tiny specs. Now I am starting to see a tint of purple on it too. I am guessing this is the good purple algae.... but what about the other 2?

Just give it time and alot of bright light. My tanks have all had different "cycles" before coming to peace with algae.
My most recent went with the diatoms, then some how red slime. Got that under control and had alot of hair algae. Hair is calming down and I started getting good coralline growth, but now I'm getting green (coralline I think, but not the purple) algae. I'm sure that'll calm down and it'll all be purple.
Watch and wait, and don't try to over extend your lighting, but provide very intense for 8hours each day. Works every time.

First, I'm a HUGE Kimi fan. Too bad Mclaren is about as reliable a wood basket for carrying water.
The more the light, the better for algae. Problem with it is that it can get out of control with too much light. The normal high intensity lighting from the sun is usually 8 hours (the most intense light), and for 3 more hours or so it's dusk/dawn lighting so it's not nearly as intense.
8 Hours seems to work for most hobbiest because of heating issues and algae control.

HAHA Much Love F1 Bruv! That shot is him hitting 200 going into Eau Rouge at Spa! Oh and yeah they arent giving him a good car,...did you hear why the benz engines keep blowing up?!!!! Ive bounced around with my timing, i noticed when I was running 12 hours I started getting cyno I think
