My tank is full of coraline, but recently on the end of some tonga branch a light purple growth began. Cotton ball shaped and soft.It has a small center hole/tube, and is about the size of a marble. In the morning it projects small spikes the same color as the rest. Small spots on the same piece of tonga within a few inches are starting to grow in the same manner. I assumed it was a type of algae and can't seem to find any pix on net net or books to match. Anyone?
