Hi everyone, I was on a trip and had someone taking care of my tank, I had just put new lighting in it and was unaware that it should only be lit for 5 hours per day, needless to say when I returned, Algae!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all over the place, Live rock is covered, turbo snails are covered but the occupants are doing well.
My question is how can I decrease the algae, can I place salt water in a big bucket from tank and clean my live rock gently just to remove the algae?
Any Help would be appreciated. :help:
