Algae in QT tank

I setup my extra 10g hex as a QT. I am quarantining a bangai cardinal when i noticed there was algae in the tank?!
Is this normal? Do I need a small cleanup crew? I feed the cardinal brine shrimp but i siphon out all the uneaten food. I figured there would be no problem with algae. There is nothing else in the tank btw.

It is not a DT so it does not need to look good. I am assuming you will use the QT as your HT if you need to treat the fish and CUC will not handle many fish treatments. Test the water to make sure you have good conditions.
