HELLO! my tank is abut 5 weeks or so old, totally cycled and a pair of clown fish. 100 lbs of live rock in my 90 gallon. some gorgeous colors starting on my rocks. One of them is a deep gold brown color on some...some also seems it might be what is in some of my sand. I have alot of snails and such but so far not touched in most of the higher rock. Is this bad or good algae? If I need to get rid of, how do I? thanks!

It most likely is diatoms since your tank is new. Is it easily dusted off with a turkey baster or such? If diatoms, its natural for a new tank. The algea you want on the rocks is coraline, it will not budge, its hard and usually purple in color. That will happen if you had LR with that to begin with, or seeded it somehow. It takes alot longer than five weeks to spread, it takes months.
