My tank is about 2 years old, I clean the sides and front algae good. I have though been leaving the back to get the purple to take over, but really has not now I have a thickish brown /green algae in the back and i want to remove it will this harm anything since there is a lot of it to remove I will clean/ water change after i remove it. Well thanks for the thoughts.
