What will eat the algae of of the sand? I have a 2-3 inch sand bed that is covered with algae. I have a LM Blennie but he only eats the stuff on the rocks.

just your basic green algae. it has some little strands flowing in the "breeze" the blennie loves the stuff on the rocks but has not touched the sand.

long stringy algae sounds like hair algae to me...  are you using ro water ? may be a phosphate problem ?? Better find out what is causing it first then worry about getting rid of it IMO..
