Algae or what is it?

There are poly looking amenomes taking over the tank. See pic. The base of their feet are attached to the rocks, in the sand, on the featherdusters, on the protein skimmers motor, all over the tank just about. What are they. When I feed the fish, you can see them grabbing the food with their anemone looking legs. They are alive. Can someone tell me what are they? and are
they damgerous,. How do I get rid of?

Aiptasia anemones - kill them, they are an explosive nusciance. Do some research on the site to find the best way - but you have a large colony...you may have to use a combo of methods such as dipping/soaking your rock in RO water AND injecting some of 'em with Joes juice and adding some peppermint shrimp
