algae problem!!!!

can some one please help me with my algae problem.....i didnt have it until i just put my metal halide lamp in....i have 215 total watts on a 35 gal hex tank.....the algae is out of control...i have a big cleanup crew but they cant even begin to eat all the algae...i have to use my mag float on the glass 2 times a day because the algae is growing so fast...is there anything i can do to stop it or slow it down? thanks

are you useing R/O watter to top off, and watter changes? have you tested for phosphate? whats you lighting schedule look like? and are we talking about hair alge, bubble what kind

why so much light just curus? is it a deep tank? just woundering cause i have 4 96w PC on my 70g

hair and bubble algae....i start my 50/50 for 1 hour then run my 175w halide for 10h and run my 50/50 for one more hour...i use r/o water and top off and also do water changes once every 2 weeks....

try to have the lights on for less time, like if you keep it on for eight hours a day, try five.

i have 2 anemones and a coral......anyone else have any ideas?
