Algae question

I have a two part question on algae. I'm going to give you the shortest version I can. I have a 55 gallon reef tank set up which has been running over 3 years now. Anyways just recently, I have green algae on the glass, it reappears as quick as I wipe it off. My levels are good, my PH has been a bit low but I have been adding a booster to correct this. Any Ideas on why I'm getting this and how to get rid of it. The second algae question I have is I have purple grass like looking algae growing on my live rock, and is spreading quite quickly all over the aqaurium. It appears in quite bushy patches, I don't know what it is, where it came from, or if it's good or bad. Any ideas as if it is good, and if not how to get rid of it. Thanks for any advice...Relli

could be coming from a number of sources you will have to test for. some are: phosphates in ur water, excess nutrients in the water, light bulbs have shifted spectrum and need to be replaced, too small a cleanup crew...
