Algae Question

I have a 90 FOLR (Kole Tang, Percula Clown, 5 Emeralds, 20+ snails, Around 40 hermits blue/scarlet) The rock is spotless, but the sand (Argonite) has patches of hair algae all over it. I pick it all out once a week and it keeps coming back. I'm considering some sand sifting stars but I've heard some bad things about them. Any suggestions.

the algae will go away with time.. trying going without lights for couple days.. but with time the green algae will disappear.

Zebra turbo snails are great for getting rid of hair algae even on the sand bed. The only down side is that they tend to get pretty big and may knock over corals.
