I had an algae boom in my tank, red and green, i want to know what has caused this and what is the best way to get rid of it. I have turbo snails, crabs, and a tang, they seem to be feeding off a little bit of it, but there is way to much algae for them to clear up. how do i get rid of it??

How old are your lights? How long do you keep them on? Do you have PH's for good water circulation? Do you overfeed? What size and type cleanup crew? What are your water parameters?
