Algae

Noticing brown algae patches on the sand bed,I am assuming algae, no pics yet. Also my back glass has brown algae but I haven't cleaned it off.should I ? Or what kind is it? I am getting some purple corraline growth in areas but also battling some green hair algae,and some green algae that looks calcareous almost. Any help?

Ok I will try to get pics,the algae on the glass is brown and fuzzy easy to remove also easy to remove on the gravel if I just stir it a little it just kinda disappears. The green algae on the rocks is harder to remove but it and the corraline are together and it seems as if I noticed the purple kind of growing over the green. And I know what the green hair algae is.I hope I win this battle.i am encouraged because I am seeing a little more purple gradually increasing. I will try to get pics.
