I seem to get a lot of red and brown algae but I never get a build-up of green algae that the fish can really eat. How long does it take for green algae to come or will it ever come so the fish can eat it?-I have three tangs and two angels!

Feeding your Tangs Romaine Lettuce or even just common lettuce will help with there veggie diet, and they will love it.

Even if it was growing well in your tank--you'd never see it as those fish will make quick work of it.
