I have brown alge all over my sand wanting to now what cleners I could get for this ? or what to do i did a 50% water chang and nitrits is still up .:notsure: :mad:

Assuming what you have is diatoms then get a fighting conch and he'll eat all the diatoms you can grow. And whats up Nitrate or Nitrate? You may want to wait on the conch is you water is too bad. Are you using RO/DI water for mixing salt water and doing top offs? If not you need to start using RO/DI. Also watch your feeding. If the algae gets too bad only feed only feed every other day.

Are you using RO/DI water or regular tap for your water changes?
Tap, depending on the make-up of your local water, can cause diatom blooms.
Also, it is beneficial to have sand sifters and adequate current throughout the tank.
